寒冷的冬季寒风继续影响新西兰部分地区。下雪、天气警告和一些道路封闭的状况正在发生。

MetService表示，强劲的西南气流预计将持续到周一早上。

预报员对 Hawke's Bay 和 Tararua, Marlborough, Nelson, the Canterbury high country, Dunedin, Clutha, Southland, 和 Stewart Island都发布了强风警告或观察。NIWA 也警告称，遭遇强风的地区可能会出现停电。

与此同时，MetService 向 Central Otago, the Southern Lakes, Dunedin, Clutha, Southland 以及 Stewart Island, 以及神奇峡湾周围和南部的峡湾地区发布了大雪警告，部分地区持续到周一。

司机被警告在道路上要格外小心，Waka Kotahi 表示，恶劣的天气导致一些高速公路关闭：SH85 Kyeburn 至 Palmerston、SH87 Kyeburn 至 Outram、SH93 Clinton 至 Mataura 以及 SH94 Te Anau 至 Milford。

在北岛，MetService 警告使用 SH1 的旅客，周日晚上可能会受到降雪的影响。

在南部，Lewis Pass (SH7)、Arthur's Pass (SH73)、Lindis Pass (SH8)、Dunedin to Waitati Highway (SH1)、Crown Range Road 和 Milford Road 发布了道路降雪警告。

根据 MetService 周一发布的天气预报，南地和 Clutha 也可能出现大雨。
